Training takes place at the Astaka playing fields in PJ. This field is quite easy to find and is within easy traveling distance/time from the Bangsar / Damansara side of KL. There is a large car park at one end of the playing fields by the Cobra clubhouse, and the Deutsche Schule KL. Please see the map on this site for exact location. We train with the children between 3.00pm and 5.00pm every Sunday afternoon. They are split into age / size groupings for drills and then matches. We loosely follow the Rugby Union Continuum guidelines. Bintang Rugby Club have IRB level I and level II certified coaches and safety and the children's enjoyment are paramount. Click here for a summary of the boy's contact rugby laws and girl's touch rugby laws that we use . Children should bring football boots and a drink initially. After the sessions, many people retire to Out of Africa, which is a short distance from the playing fields (see location map). Membership forms can be downloaded here |
